Public-Private Partnership Conference, October 21
The Mayor's Office of Partnerships and Grants Development, in partnership with the Washington Council of Agencies, will host the Fifth Annual Public-Private Partnership Conference on Tuesday, October 21, 2003, at the George Washington University's Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Conference Center.
Focusing on this year's theme—Partnerships: Creating Opportunities for All—participants can access the information and resources needed to build sustainable, results-driven partnerships that strengthen their organizations and further their mission. Through 17 how-to and two plenary sessions, participants can learn to:
- Evaluate programs and organizations;
- Prepare for catastrophic emergencies;
- Set up policies and procedures for human resource management and fund development;
- Find and apply for online funding;
- Negotiate the DC contracting process;
- Establish partnerships with and obtain funding from the Federal Government;
- Survive, and even prosper, during lean economic times;
- And much more!
