News Release for Immediate Release September 1, 2004 Mayor’s Office of Partnerships and Grants Development to Host “Grant Development Triathlon” The Mayor’s Office of Partnerships and Grants Development (OPGD) will host a Grant Development Triathlon for local nonprofit organizations.  Experts from local foundations, as well as federal and DC government agencies, will provide tips on preparing successful proposals.  In addition, representatives of Washington Grantmakers will review the new Common Grant Application format.  The event will take place on September 23, 9 am-3 pm, at Allen Chapel AME Church, 2498 Alabama Avenue, SE, Washington, DC  20020.  The church will have lunches available for a nominal fee.
