Nonprofit and Faith-Based Support Services

The Office of Partnerships and Grant Services' Nonprofit Development Center is a part of a comprehensive approach to promote the growth and development of the District's ever more diverse and essential nonprofit service providers. OPGS also focuses its technical assistance and training services to enhance the sector's delivery of services to the District's growing immigrant communities.

Some of OPGS' services are listed below.
  • One-on-one consultations to discuss potential collaboration and grant development approaches and opportunities;
  • Presentations at community and stakeholder meetings to promote the office’s technical assistance and training services;
  • Customized capacity-building workshops for targeted customers; and
  • Guidance on nonprofit incorporation and 501 (c)(3) application procedures.
The Office of Partnerships and Grant Services provides the following list of capacity building organizations as a potential service that your organization might consider for technical support. Please note that OPGS does not encourage the procurement or endorse the quality of services that might be offered to you by any of the cited organizations. Feel free to contact OPGS should you have questions about this information.
