OPGS and the Center for Nonprofit Advancement Host 12th Annual Public Private Partnership Conference The conference takes place Tuesday, June 12. Full Text White House Community Leaders Briefing Series for Nonprofits The White House Office of Public Engagement and the Mayor’s Office of Partnerships and Grant Services will co-host the Community Leaders Briefing for nonprofit executives at the White House complex on February 3, 2012. The participants will hear from White House officials about federal budgetary, policy, and program initiatives affecting the nonprofit sector as well as share their views on ways to improve services to residents in the District and surrounding jurisdictions. Full Text OPGS Hosts the Strengthening Communities Fund Graduation Ceremony On Wednesday, September 28th the Office of Partnerships and Grant Services hosted the Strengthening Communities Fund Graduation Ceremony. Ten leaders from non-profit and faith-based organizations providing services to residents in the District of Columbia completed a two year capacity building program that gave them the knowledge and tools to build the capacity of their organization to that would maximize the services they provide.
